From New Jalpaiguri Gundi Station, take a car to Samsing Outpost and then walk one km. A wooden suspension bridge can be seen as you walk along the gravel road in the middle of the green hills. You will find some home stays in this place. If you want to take a bite you can hop in the momo, soup and tea shops in the area. After sunset in the afternoon, you have to sit in these cabins to eat Nepali Momo Wet Hot Momo. Suntalekhola is undoubtedly a school of nature.
The bungalow of Suntalekhola Forest Development Corporation is the best place to stay but you have to book in advance otherwise the chances of staying there is quite sleek as the place mostly gets booked. You can also stay in the river camp if you miss the opportunity to stay at the Bungalow of Suntalekhola Forest Development Corporation.
From Sealdah and Howrah you have to go to New Jalpaiguri Station by train and from thereby reserving a car to Samsing Suntalekhola, which is 85kms away from Station. The distance from New Mall Junction is 35 km by reserving a car. You can also reserve a car from New Mall Junction to Samsing Suntalekhola which would be a total distance of 35kms.
