The island of Bali is famous for its batik art. The women draw wax designs on the cloth with a fine brush, and when it dries, the wax melts in hot water to create a beautiful batik look. You can go to Ubud’s Handicraft Market see the handicrafts of Bali.
The beauty of the sand is the blue abyssal sea and the living volcanoes in between. Mount Agung and Mount Bayu are the two places where you can get the unique opportunity to see those volcanoes. In the middle of the green grass-covered mountains, a stream of black ash descends through the mouth of the lake. Next to the largest lake in Bali, Batu, is a three-story restaurant where you can sit and have lunch and see the live volcanoes.

Bali is famous for Ulak coffee, Ulak is a civet cat that eats the seeds of coffee and the coffee is made from what they excrete. I know after hearing this you might get a little nauseous but this is true. Here you can try different types of Chinese coffee like coconut coffee, vanilla coffee, rosella tea, cocoa etc.

Bali Bird Park is a special attraction because there are 1000 birds of 250 special species. A bird show is held here called “Meet the Bird Star”. Don’t miss the opportunity to see rare species of birds.

The tour of Bali Island will not be complete if you don’t go to Nusa Lambangan Island. For these you will have to buy a ticket at the luxury cruise Catamaran to go to the floating pontoon through the blue water. Those who want to do scuba diving or snorkelling you have to take a guide, a mask and oxygen. You will get to see coral reefs, and all kinds of fish of different colours, marine animals, you will feel as if you have travelled to a dream country just like in a fairy tale!

From Kolkata you have to fly to Kuala Lumpur and from there you have to reach Denpasar, the capital of Bali. Arriving in Bali, Indians will get one month arrival visa. There is no extra fee.
The best time to visit Bali is between June and September.
