Jaisalmir Desert Festival

The festival starts with a grandeur Rally where every participants are dressed with Royal Rajasthani attire.The main attraction of this festival is Camels. This ship of deserts are decorated with colourful dress. Camel Caravan is the main attraction of this festival.

Hornbill Festival – Nagaland

The festival is named after the Indian hornbill, the large and colourful forest bird which is displayed in the folklore of most of the state's tribes.The Hornbill Festival is held at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama which is about 12 km from Kohima. All the tribes of Nagaland take part in this festival.

HEMIS FESTIVAL IN LADAKH

The ceremonies begin with an early morning ritual atop the Gompa where, to the beat of drums and the resounding clash of cymbals and the spiritual wail of pipes, the portrait of "Dadmokarpo" or "Rygyalsras Rinpoche" is then ceremoniously put on display for all to admire and worship.
